Charlotte Church (born February 21, 1986) is an opera singer from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh singer-songwriter famous for the jazz, classical, and pop recordings. Her albums have sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Crazy Chick became her first #1 single. Church would love to portray Hermione Grenger in Harry Potter but Church wanted Emma Watson instead. Emma Watson took the role instead. Church, birthed Charlotte Maria Reed was the daughter Maria (nee Cooper), the Welsh engineer in computer science and Stephen Reed. Charlotte, her mother and Stephen Reed left when Charlotte was only 2 years older. Charlotte then was raised entirely through her maternal grandmother. Charlotte was educated as a Roman Catholic.
