Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiIn his third album that is not yet released near completion, Ky-mani Marley is definitely a star as a person in his own right. On the 26th of February in 1976 Ky-mani was born to the legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. Kymani's name is an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as someone who lives according to his title every album, or trip, is an adventure. His musical voyage began in 1999 with The Journey. His broad-ranging vision led Ky-Mani to seek out his niche and explore his diverse talents. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae album. It showcased Kymani's maturation. The Journey and Many More Roads were well accepted throughout the world, which established Ky-mani's position as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani brings together roots reggae hip-hop R&B modern jazz in order to produce his distinctive sound.
